I did this because I wanted to illustrate an article I'm still working on about David Bowie and other singers who have adapted Jacques Brel's songs. I'm not sure yet whether I'll use it or not. On a technical note, I did most of the drawing using a white chalk pencil on black paper, and added some details and a bit of white on the left side using Affinity Photo. UPDATE: this was later printed accompanying a text in a special issue of a literary magazine named La Galla Ciencia dedicated to David Bowie a few months after his death.

Hice esto porque quería ilustrar un artículo en el que aún estoy trabajando acerca de David Bowie y otros cantantes que han adaptado canciones de Jacques Brel. Todavía no he decidido si lo voy a utilizar o no. Desde un punto de vista técnico, hice la mayor parte del dibujo usando un lápiz de tiza blanca sobre papel negro, añadiendo algunos detalles y un poco de blanco en el lado izquierdo utilizando Affinity Photo. ACTUALIZACIÓN: La ilustración fue publicada acompñando un texto en un número especial de la revista literaria La Galla Ciencia dedicado a David Bowie unos meses después de su muerte.
